Goodbye

On 30 August, Paul and I moved to Tanzania.

And at least several months before that, I moved to Blogger once and for all.  Click here for my blog.

I'm keeping this site up so I can continue to comment on others' Xanga sites, but will no longer be updating.

Cheers!

I loved being home. It was fantastic to go grocery shopping with my mom and drive my little brother around and listen to 90s music with my older brother and laugh at my dad's corny jokes and talk to vendors in chinese and eat at places where people KNOW me and bargain for sweaters that are not from old navy and steal my mom's clothes and eat cheap food loaded with garlic and blend in with the crowd of dark-haired people and yell at crazy drivers and not be at school and sit in sunshine and weave through traffic on a scooter and do this all with paul.

Things that make me happy:

Cool architecture (actually, Taiwan buildings are pretty ugly. I just like this picture)

Can't seem to log on to my Houghton e-mail account anywhere here in Taiwan, so if you want to contact me (or have tried to in the past couple of weeks), please e-mail me at msafiri.k AT gmail.com.
Thanks!

Having fun with Paul and my brothers in Taiwan:
